Djamel Abdoun (Arabic: جميل عبدون) (born February 14, 1986 in Montreuil-sous-Bois, France) is an French footballer of Algerian descent, currently playing as a midfielder for Manchester City on loan from Ajaccio.
Abdoun started his career in 2003 for Ajaccio where he made only 10 appearances in three seasons, scoring 2 goals.
He signed for Man City in the January transfer window of 2007 making his debut for The Blues on January 27, 2007 in the 3-1 FA Cup win over Southampton F.C..
