Donald Duck Presents

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Donald Duck Presents was a television series on The Disney Channel beginning in 1983, which featured classic Disney shorts. Although Donald Duck shorts, without surprise, were the primary programming, additional cartoons featuring Goofy, Mickey Mouse, Chip 'n Dale, Pluto and others were also shown. It was first aired on April 18, 1983, the day the Disney Channel was launched. Its timeslot for its early run was at 7:30 AM Eastern Time, making it the second program of the Disney Channel's 18 hour programming day.

The opening of the show featured a cavalcade of scenes from various classic Disney shorts, and a theme song, an approximation of whose lyrics appear below. This show is really no different than Good Morning, Mickey!, which is the same type of show, but the main difference is the opening theme. Unlike the opening of Good Morning, Mickey, which features all of the characters in the theme, the opening of Donald Duck Presents features only Donald (and the nephews).

Donald Duck presents... (Adventure!) Donald Duck presents... (Laughter!) Donald Duck presents... (Action!) Donald Duck presents...

Donald Duck presents... Wild and wacky quacking. Donald Duck presents... Stories and fun. Donald Duck presents... Music and laughter. From the one and only one!

Donald Duck presents... Donald Duck presents... (Science!) Donald Duck presents... (Surprises!) Donald Duck presents... (Crazy stuff!) From the one and only, from the one and only one!

Donald Duck presents... Donald Duck presents... He's the one and only! Donald Duck presents... He's the one and only! Donald Duck presents... He's the one and only! Donald Duck presents... Donald Duck presents...

IMPORTANT: I want to know the band's name of this song
