Dre (born April 10, 1979 Andre Christopher Lyon, in New York City), is one half of the hip hop production duo "Cool & Dre", along with Marcello "Cool" Valenzano.
He moved to Miami with his family when he was five years old. He is of Jamaican descent. He graduated from North Miami High School.
He is currently working on his solo album called "The Trunk". It is scheduled to be released in September 2007 through Cool & Dre's label Epidemic Music and Jive Records. It will feature production from Scott Storch, DJ Khaled, Timbaland, DJ Toomp and of course, Cool & Dre. The album will also feature Rick Ross, Dirtbag, Lil Skeeter, Keyshia Cole and Anthony Hamilton.
Dre is currently dating Christina Milian.[1]
