Dream 100 FM is an Independent Local Radio station that formerly broadcast 24 hours a day across north Essex and south Suffolk from Colchester. Since the inception of Town 102 in Ipswich however in 2006, Town 102 has taken over the South Suffolk broadcasting area, leaving Dream 100 to return to its old roots of the 90s and concentrate on North Essex.

It started as Mellow 1557 on 1557MW in 1990. On September 1st 1998, it was sold by Radio First to Tindle Radio Ltd. Later in 1998, it became an FM station. Former Pirate radio DJ Bill Rollins has been at the Tendring station through its various evolutions, from day 1 in 1990. He presents weekend breakfast.

Other current presenters include weekday breakfast presenter Chris Sturgess, Jonathan Murphy, Pete Bristow, James Crameri and Tracie Young.

It broadcasts on 100.2FM from the transmitter at Telstar Nurseries at Cook's Green near Little Clacton in Tendring.
