Drest VI of the Picts

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Drest (died c. 678) (Drest mac Domnaill or Drest mac Dúngail) was king of the Picts from 663 to 672.

He succeeded his brother Gartnait IV on the latter's death in 663. The Pictish Chronicle king lists give him a reign of six or seven years.

The Annals of Ulster and the Annals of Tigernach for 672 record that he was deposed as king, presumably by Bruide. He died c. 678.
