Drumline is a 2002 film directed by Charles Stone III. The plot is about a young drummer from New York who enters fictional HBCU Atlanta A&T University and tries to lead the school's drum section.

Nick Cannon plays a young, rebel, snare drummer in this tale based of the Atlanta A&T State University, "Blue and Gold Marching Machine".While in a new enviornment and new surrounding Nick Cannon tries to win the heart of band dancer Zoe Saldana, as well as finding and defining his place in on the drumline.
