Dwight White (born July 30, 1949) was an American football player who played defensive end with the Pittsburgh Steelers and was a member of the famed Steel Curtain defense. He played college football at Texas A&M University-Commerce.

White was named "Mad Dog" White and became a Pro Bowl defensive end. He was one of the game's more colorful characters, but was also a standout defensive end who played with much intensity. Prior to Super Bowl IX, White spent much of the previous week in a hospital, suffering from a viral infection. White lost 20 pounds during that week and was not expected to play. However, White did play, and accounted for the only scoring in the first half when he sacked Fran Tarkenton in the end zone for a safety — the first points in Steelers' history in a championship game. The Steelers defeated the Minnesota Vikings 16-6.

He retired after the 1980 season and has gone to become a successful broker.
