Edinburgh Evening News
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Edinburgh Evening News is a local newspaper based in Edinburgh, Scotland. It is published daily (except on Sundays). It has a circulation of 68,000 (2005 figures) and is owned by Johnston Press, which also owns The Scotsman and many regional titles throughout the UK.
Much of the copy contained in the Evening News concerns transport, the local council, crime in West Lothian and swans.
It also has the most boring columnist in the world, John Gibson, who constantly makes derogatory comments about Glasgow as well as name-dropping the names of people who only he knows.
