Edwin Rolando Tenorio Montaño (born 16 June 1976) is an Ecuadorian football (soccer) player who currently plays as a defensive midfielder for LDU Quito. Before playing for his current club, Tenorio played for Barcelona Sporting Club and Sociedad Deportiva Aucas.

He has currently won over 70 caps for Ecuador and was recently called up to the squad to participate in the 2006 World Cup. He was recently named deputy captain for the national side in their latest fixture against South American rivals, Peru. The game ended in a 1-1 draw, although Ecuador had an almost makeshift looking team, while Peru had many of its star players present.

Tenorio is known for his combative spirit on and off the field. While he has yet to score for the senior team, he has displayed on occasion a tremendously powerful shot and set up a few goals for his offensive teammates.

Tenorio is the first choice defensive midfielder for Ecuador. Although an irreplaceable player for his country, Segundo Castillo (who is also another irreplaceable player) occupies his spot when he is not available.
