Efe Echanomi (born September 27, 1986 in England) is a football (soccer) striker currently playing for Leyton Orient F.C. in the English third division, Football League One. Echanomi signed for Orient, who are his first professional club, in late 2004 and has since scored 8 league goals in 34 appearances. Echanomi primarily acts as a "super sub" for Orient, with 30 of his appearances being as a substitute. He is renowned for celebrating his goals with multiple somersaults.
Echanomi has not featured for the club since December 2005 due to having broken his leg. He was due to return early in the 2006/7 season but recovery is taking longer than predicted.
