Electoral district of Kawana

The division of Kawana is a Queensland Legislative Assembly electoral district on the Sunshine Coast in the Australian state of Queensland. The electorate is focused on the northern parts of Caloundra City & parts of the Maroochy Shire LGAs.

It stretches north to Buderim, south to Kawana Waters and west to Sippy Downs.

The seat is currently held by Steve Dickson of Liberal Party. In the last state election, Dickson defeated Chris Cummins, in which Cummins was labelled 'Minister for nothing'^[1] by the opposition prior to the election.
