Electoral district of Mindarie

Mindarie is an Electoral district of Western Australia. As in other districts, the Mindarie district elects a single person to the Western Australian Legislative Assembly. The elected person is then known as the Member for Mindarie, and is said to hold the seat of Mindarie. As of 2001, the Member for Mindarie is John Quigley who holds the seat for the Labor Party by a margin of 10.8%. The seat in 2009 is expected to be retained by the Labor Party.
Outer northern beachside suburbs of Perth, including Mindarie, Clarkson, Kinross, Currambine, Iluka, Ocean Reef and parts of Quinns Rocks and Mullaloo. Covers 47 km².
An entirely new seat created in 2001 to cover the growth on Perth's northern metropolitan fringe.
