Elf (Artemis Fowl)

An elf is a member of the fairy family found in the Artemis Fowl series. They are usually about 1 metre in height. Holly Short is the main elfin character throughout the series and is 99 centimetres tall, making her one centimeter below the fairy average.
Elves have pointy ears and brown skin. They are generally intelligent, loyal, and have a strong sense of right and wrong. They live remarkably long, generally for a several centuries. Elves love to fly, either in a craft or with wings. They also generally have a good sense of humour.
Notable elves in the Artemis Fowl series include Holly Short, Julius Root and Trouble Kelp.
