Elijah Blue Allman

Elijah Blue Allman, also known as Phillips Exeter Blue I, was born July 10, 1976. He is the son of Cher and Gregg Allman and half brother of Chastity Bono, Delilah Island Allman, and Devon Allman . He is the singer and guitarist for the rock band Deadsy which consists of Alec Pure on drums, Dr. Nner on synthesizer, Carlton Megalodon on Z-tar, and Jens Funke on bass. At the age of 13, he toured as a guitarist with Cher; he was given his first guitar by Kiss bassist Gene Simmons. Deadsy released two albums: 2002's Commencement and Phantasmagore, which came out on August 22, 2006.

He has said in an MTV interview on a program talking of children of famous rock musicians that, "I respect The Allman Brothers Band very much, but I've always been more into Black Sabbath, David Bowie, and Metallica."

It was announced in February 2007 that Elijah is working on a solo record.

In March 2007, it was rumored that Elijah was a patient at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, CA. It is not known if Elijah successfully completed the 30 day inpatient program, checked out early, or was removed from the program by staff at the Betty Ford Center.
