Equilibrium is a viking metal band from Germany. The band combines various elements of folk and Black metal. The band is relatively new to the black metal scene but has had some success, especially with their debut album Turis Fratyr. Their lyrics are about Germanic tales and Germanic mythology in general. Three of the band members have left since the release of Turis Fratyr so it may be possible that their next album (called Sagas) will sound substantially different.
