He was born Eric Anthony Douglas in Los Angeles, California, the youngest son of actor Kirk Douglas and Anne Buydens. His half-brother is Michael Douglas. Unlike his more-famous Academy Award-winning relatives, Eric Douglas' most notable movie was the 1986 comedy The Golden Child, which starred Eddie Murphy. Eric Douglas is interred in the Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery, Westwood, California.
