In 1999, Guillaume joined the group after having left his initial formation Shockwave. Six months later, Roswell joined with them too. The band was complete Being members of the Coriace collective of Marseilles, the group was appreciated more and more. The members of the formation then decide to change their name. They chose Eths.

The band is often on tour around France ,Swiss ,Belgium and Portugal, but they also have time to make several maxi CDs, the most famous of which is called Samantha. The band also cut its first full-length album, Sôma, in 2003.
