Eusko Abertzale Ekintza - Acción Nacionalista Vasca (EAE-ANV) (Basque Nationalist Action) was the first Basque Nationalist political party to exist that presented itself on a socialist platform.

It was formed in the 1930, as a reaction to the merge of the Basque Nationalist Party with conservative Comunión Nacionalista Vasca. It played a minor role during the Republic and in the Civil War. Since the 1960s, it has supported ETA and run to elections inside the electoral platforms of the Basque National Liberation Movement. It did not belong to KAS though. After the refoundation of Batasuna in the beginning of the 21st century, it left the coalition, recovering its condition as independent party. Even though Batasuna was prohibited by the Spanish Supreme Court in 2002, EAE-ANV maintained its condition of legal party. Half of the lists of EAE-ANV were declared illegal, due to continuity of an illegal party (Batasuna), and therefore did not take part in the 2007 municipal and autonomic elections in Spain. The illegal ones include the lists of Bilbao, San Sebastián, Vitoria.
