An exbibyte (a contraction of exa binary byte) is a unit of information or computer storage, abbreviated EiB.
The exbibyte is closely related to the exabyte, which can either be an (inaccurate) synonym for exbibyte, or refer to 1018 bytes = 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 bytes, depending on context (see binary prefix).
