FC Flora is an Estonian football club that was founded in 1990. FC Flora are a multiple winner of the Meistriliiga title and the Estonian Cup. They have for years been raising the most number of players for the national team, and have also grown players from their successful youth system that have had a good career abroad. These players include for example Mart Poom, Andres Oper, Raio Piiroja, Ragnar Klavan. FC Flora have also developed many players that have gone on and brought success to other Estonian clubs, and therefore might be considered a club that has contributed the most to Estonian football.
FC Flora's main rivals are FC Levadia and FC TVMK, all three are from the Estonian capital city of Tallinn. Flora's home stadium is a recently built A. Le Coq Arena which holds a capacity of 9,300 and has an under-soil heating system. The stadium complex also holds many training pitches with natural but also with artificial turf. There are short-term plans to add a full-sized indoor training pitch.

The 2006 season was the first under charismatic Finnish ex-international and coach Pasi Rautiainen and for after the last title and the selling of key players, the club finally seems to be moving on under the right guidance. The third position finish in the Meistriliiga was a bit disappointing, and leaves the club out of the top two European club competitions for the first time, FC Flora will enter the Intertoto Cup in the summer of 2007. The season was more noteworthy in Europe though. In the UEFA Cup first qualifying round the club were drawn against Norwegian Tippeligaen outfit F.C. Lyn Oslo and FC Flora overcame their much more illustrious opponents on the away-goals rule. The second round draw paired FC Flora with top Danish club Brøndby IF. After an equal 0:0 draw at home, a 0:4 trashing was suffered on away soil, and the European campaign ended on a somewhat downside note. The season saw Pavel Londak establishing himself between the posts, international right-back Teet Allas making an influential season even though he suffered by injuries, defender Alo Bärengrub giving a solid performance throughout the season, veteran midfielder Martin Reim dictating the tempo once more, left-winger Andrei Sidorenkov receiving praise from Lyn coach Henning Berg and breaking into the national team as well as Vjatšeslav Zahovaiko scoring another bunch of goals on a regular basis. The season had a major downside though with key playmaker Joel Lindpere constantly getting in trouble with the referees, and finally being sacked by his employee FC Flora for being a negative role model.
