From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Facility 615 is the double-circuit 110kV-line for three phase AC current between Calmbach substation and Höfen substation of the EnBW AG. The Enz Valley crossing near Calmbach is with a width of 1372.8 meters the second largest and the Eyach Valley crossing between Pylon 15 (geographical coordinates: 8°33'35" eastern length, 48°48'14" northern latitude) and 16 (geographical coordinates: 48°48'38" northern latitude, 8°33'00" eastern length) with a span width of 1444 metres the largest powerline span in Germany.

In contrast to Elbe Crossing 1 and Elbe Crossing 2 the pylons are relatively low (70 meters for Eyach Valley crossing), as they stand high on the mountains.
