Fatso is a 1980 American comedy film written and directed by Anne Bancroft and starring herself, Dom DeLuise and Ron Carey.
After an overweight cousin dies of a heart attack, similarly overweight Dominick is convinced by his sister Antoinette and brother Frankie to lose weight. He tries attending meetings of a support group called the "Chubby Checkers", but then he meets a woman named Lydia, and the relationship gives him the distraction he needs to stop obsessing about food.
