Ferrocarril del Sureste FERROSUR
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Ferrocarril del Sureste ("FERROSUR", AAR reporting mark FSRR) is a railroad that serves the south-eastern regions of Mexico.
Ferrosur is (as of February 1, 2006) involved in discussions to merge Ferromex into Ferrosur's parent company Infraestructura y Transportes Ferroviarios, which also owns the US Short-line railroad, Texas Pacifico Transportation (TXPF) (Texas Pacific Group?). ITF is currently controlled by the mining company Grupo México. This proposal is awaiting approval of the Mexican government. [1]
