Filamer Christian College or the FCC is a higher education institution established 1904 by Rev. and Mrs. Joseph Robbins with the help of the American Baptist Foreign Mission Society. Located in Roxas City, Capiz, "Filamer" is the combined name of Filipino and American (Fil-Amer) who ventured together in providing Christian education in the Philippines.

Filamer Christian College started with 3 children students at its first building donated by the American Baptist Foreign Mission Society. The school which is formerly known as the Capiz Home School was ran by Rev. and Mrs. Joseph Robbins. The students population slowly grew to 26 children after a year with the help of Miss Margaret Suman.

With the construction of the new Baptist Home School building in 1908, it opened to admit boys and and by 1920, the student population reached to 80 pupils. After raising its High School standards in 1949, the Capiz Home School became the Filamer Christian Institute in 1952.

The name Filamer is derived from the words Filipino (fil) and American (amer) who helped together in establishing the Christian school for children.
