Filmfare Best Actor Award

The Filmfare Best Actor Award is given by the Filmfare magazine as part of its annual Filmfare Awards for Hindi (Bollywood) films.

The award was first given in 1953. Frequent winners include Dilip Kumar (8 awards), Shahrukh Khan (6), Amitabh Bachchan (4), Rajesh Khanna and Naseeruddin Shah and Hrithik Roshan (3 each). Twelve actors account for 40 of the 51 awards recognized thus far. Here is a list of the award winners and the films for which they won.
