Final Fantasy Anthology Soundtrack is a promotional soundtrack album of video game music from the console role-playing games Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VI, originally produced by Square Co., Ltd. for the Super Famicom video game console (known internationally as the Super Nintendo Entertainment System). The album contains a selection of musical tracks from the games, composed and performed by Nobuo Uematsu. It was released on October 5, 1999, by Square Electronic Arts. The release bears no catalog number as it is a promo and it is available only as a part of the North American Final Fantasy Anthology. The music CD is not available in the Greatest Hits edition of the game. The musics on this album are the same as on the Final Fantasy V: Original Sound Version and the Final Fantasy VI: Original Sound Version. The new full motion video themes for both Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VI never made it into any album to date. Despite popularity, Gilgamesh's theme song "Clash on the Big Bridge" is not included.
