The Minister of Finance of Nigeria is a senior cabinet official in the Nigerian Federal Executive Council. The Finance Minister's main responsibility is to manage the finances of the Nigerian treasury in a transparent, accountable and efficient manner to bolster the country's economic development priorities. The current Minister of Finance is Nneadi Usman

The Minister of Finance is first appointed by the President of Nigeria; this appointment is then subject to ratification by both houses of the National Assembly of Nigeria.
