Fine Paints of Europe, located in the U.S. state of Vermont, is the exclusive North American importer of paints and varnishes manufactured in the Netherlands by Wijzonol Bouwverven B.V. Fine Paints is regarded as a source of some of the highest quality coatings in the North American paint industry. Like their European counterparts, the company's coatings products are distinct for intensity and depth of color resulting from high content of premium pigments and resins. The paints are unlike most American paints for modulating value, the light or dark quality of the color, not by using black or white pigments, but by the addition of harmonizing or complimentary pigment colors. For example, a green color is made darker by the addition of a red-orange pigment rather than black. Coatings imported by Fine Paints of Europe offer a much longer life than conventional North American coatings. Wijzonol Bouwverven B.V. Fine Paints products are formulated to perform for an eighteen year average period.

Fine Paints of Europe is the exclusive licensee of Pantone Paints. The company paints are offered in a of range of International color palettes including the Natural Color System, a 1,750 color palette developed by the Scandinavian Color Institute, and RAL, a color space system developed in 1927 by the Reichsausschuß für Lieferbedingungen, German for Commission for Delivery Terms and Quality Assurance. The RAL color system has more than 1,900 colors.

Fine Paints of Europe has a select but limited distribution presence but are available online. Fine Paints offers complimentary color and technical advice six days a week.

When founded in 1987 most of the company's products were destined for application in the restoration of historic properties. More recently the company has developed and retailed premium paint palettes with Pantone and Susan Sargent for more general contemporary application.
