First Presbyterian Day School

First Presbyterian Day School is a private college-preparatory Christian school located in Macon, Georgia, United States. It was founded in 1970 as an offshoot of First Presbyterian Church, also located in Macon. Commonly known as "FPD" or "FPDS," it offers curriculum from K-4 through the 12th grade to approximately 1000 students. New fine arts and athletics facilities were completed in 2000 and a new high school building in 2006. School colors are red and black and the school mascot is the Viking. The elementary school was named a Blue Ribbon School by the US Department of Education in 2003.

FPD is a member of the Georgia Independent School Association, the College Board, and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. FPD is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The school's athletic teams compete in the AAA division of the Georgia Independent School Association.

Notable alumni include artist Steve Penley, violinist Robert McDuffie, and controversial baseball player John Rocker.
