About First Down Dreams:

First Down Dreams is an annual flag football tournament created by Central Communications and run under the name First Down Dreams Foundation. Central Communications (formerly: The Agency) is the Central Washington University student-run public relations firm recognized by the Public Relations Student Society of America. First Down Dreams was first conceptualized by Dan Murphy (an Ellensburg, WA. resident) as an annual flag football tournament, the proceeds of which would benefit The Yakima Children's Village, part of The Yakima Memorial Hospital in Yakima, WA.

First Down Dreams Foundation was created February 2007. The first annual tournament, to be held Cinco de Mayo weekend, consists of a two-day double elimination tournament as well as a silent auction. All proceeds directly benefit Children's Village.
