Fond du Lac High School is a comprehensive public high school located at 801 Campus Drive in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Fond du Lac high school was inaugurated in 2001 replacing the former Goodrich High School. Fondy High students are known as Cardinals.
Fond du Lac High School is the largest high school in the state of Wisconsin in terms of area. Fondy high students eat lunch in the commons and have classes in the "H", so named because of the shape of the educational wing. Divisions of the "H" are known as pods, each being color-coded. Math, Science, English, and Social Studies are respectively color-coded blue, yellow, purple, and green. Foreign language classes are located upstairs in the hallways between pods, or in the front of some pods. There is also a tech-ed and art wing located at the north-east part of the school. All business classes are located between English and social studies on the first floor. The library is in the middle of the H.
There are several Advanced Placement, or AP, classes offered for college credit at Fondy High. They include Calculus, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, US Politics and Government, Comparative Politics and Government, Statistics and Literature and Composition, among others. Students usually take an AP test during May to test their knowledge on the appropriate subject. Although it varies from college to college, a score of 3, 4, or 5 is generally needed to achieve college credit.
