Foxit Reader is a freeware PDF reader.

Foxit Reader is notable for its short load time and small filesize, which are sometimes favorable when compared to Adobe Reader. Version 1.x was, however, criticised for excessive memory usage, while version 2 is reported to have solved this problem.[1]

Foxit Reader is available for 32-bit Microsoft Windows (98 up to XP and Vista)[2], Windows Mobile 2003 and 5.0, and Windows CE 4.2 and 5.0. Foxit Reader allows Windows 9x/ME to open Acrobat version 7 files, which the current version of Adobe's Acrobat reader for those operating systems will not.[3] It also supports the Linux operating system, and the U3 smart drive (when used with Windows 2000 or Windows XP).
