IMDb profile

Friday After Next is the sequel to Next Friday. The movie was released in 2002 and stars Ice Cube as Craig Jones, and Mike Epps as his less street intelligent cousin Day-Day. It was directed by Marcus Raboy.

Contents

After a robber disguised as Santa steals Craig and Day Day's Christmas presents and rent money, the two cousins work on Christmas Eve as security guards for a strip mall hoping to get the rent money back in time before the landlady (Ms. Pearly) sends her ex-convict (posibally Homosexual) son Damon after them. During the day they ecounter new insane characters including Moly, Money Mike, and a trigger happy old man that complicates their goal to get their rent money and throw a slammin' party later that night. Craig and Day Day also fight over Donna, the beautiful ho of Money Mike.

  • The character Roach was originally written in the script, but was taken out after Justin Pierce committed suicide soon after the release of Next Friday.
  • Mike Epps plays a double role in the movie. He not only plays Day-Day, but he plays the old man with the shotgun at the end.
  • Uncle Elroy's girlfriend from Next Friday is not in this movie because Elroy mentioned that he dumped her shortly after Craig left their house. Instead his new girlfriend is Cookie played by actress Sommore.
  • It is rumored that a sequel of Friday After Next will be coming into theaters called Last Friday.
  • Terry Crews, Clifton Powell and Katt Williams also appeared on the 2007 film Norbit with Katt Williams as another Pimp.
