G5 is a two character combination which may refer to any of many items, classifications, and entities:

  • G5 also refers to the 5th floor of a dormitory, Gladden House, that sits on the the northwest end of the Williams College campus in Williamstown, MA. The fifth floor of the dormitory is "pants optional".
  • G5 is the IATA code for China Express Airlines

  • G5 paper, an ISO 216 "Metric Paper" format, 169 × 239 mm
  • G5 star, a subclass of G-class stars
  • Group 5 element, part of the periodic table of elements
  • G5 bipin, a lamp standard

  • The former haplogroup G5 (Y-DNA), a human Y chromosome haplogroup, now known as haplogroup G2c.

"G5" is also the name of a popular dance featured American rapper, Huey's music video for the single "Pop, Lock, and Drop It"
