Gary Lee Conner

Gary Lee Conner (born Lee Gary Conner on August 22, 1962 in Fort Irwin, California, USA) was the lead guitarist for grunge music act Screaming Trees, along with his brother Van, who was the band's bassist. In addition to his work with the Screaming Trees, Conner was featured on Ball-Hog or Tugboat, a 1995 album from Mike Watt. In 1999, he released a 7" EP on the Sub Pop entitled Grasshoppers Dream/Behind The Smile; this album also featured Josh Homme from Queens of the Stone Age. In 2004, Conner started up a new music project called Amanita Caterpillar.
Conner currently lives in San Angelo, Texas with his wife Janet and daughter Juliana. He also works as a newspaper courier.
