Gears of war 2

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gears of War 2 is to be a sequel to the best selling xbox 360 title Gears of War. It will be released in late 2008 if Microsoft follows their stratagey of releasing Halo games for the Christmas season in odd numbered years, and Gears of War games for the Christmas seaon of even numbered years. This is to ensure that Microsoft has an exculsive "killer app" title each Christmas season.

Gears of War and Gears of War 2 are to be part of a larger trilogy, as planned by the developers from the begining of the series, and furthor ensured by the first Gears of War's titanic commerical sucess, selling millions of copies and catapulting xbox 360 sales.
