Gifted Kid

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gifted Kid is a general interest message board. Originally created by a group of frustrated web users as an antidote to forums runs by overzealous moderators, GK has now expanded to become a message board that welcomes anyone that wants somewhere to visit without the need to have a common interest or hobby with which they can interact with other members.

GK boasts of its non-moderation policy and although the early days of the board saw it as a place where frustrated people could post links and comments that were maybe not accepted elsewhere, it is now seen as a haven from the madness of every day life which is pretty much self moderated by its users.

Gifted Kid has become more popular recently due to the introduction of a Dead Pool competition. The owners of GK have run the competition for several years and have brought the two enterprises together to create a site that entertains while allowing people with a dark sense of humour to participate in the competition. GK regularly posts links and information to celebrity related news and obituaries and is becoming a more and more popular resource for finding out the latest information on the health of the rich and famous.
