Giovanni Galli (born 29 April 1958 in Pisa) is an Italian former football (soccer) goalkeeper.

Galli started his playing career for AC Fiorentina, where he played from 1977 to 1986. He then moved to AC Milan, where he played four seasons, three of which as a regular. Successively, he also played for SSC Napoli, Torino Calcio and AC Parma. He ended his playing career in 1995-1996 for A.S. Lucchese-Libertas of Serie B.

As a backup, he took part in the 1982 World Cup expedition without playing any match. His national team debut for Italy happened on a match against Greece on 5 October 1983. He played for Italy in the 1986 FIFA World Cup.

He currently works as scout for Fiorentina, and as a TV and radio commenter. Giovanni Galli is the father of the late Niccolò Galli, a promising young footballer who died in a road accident on 2001, aged 17.
