Godfrey Lionel Rampling (born May 14, 1909) is a former British athlete and army officer, winner of gold medal in 4x100 m relay at the 1936 Summer Olympics.
Born in London, Godfrey Rampling won the British AAA championships in 440 yd in 1931 and 1934.
At the 1932 Summer Olympics, Rampling was fourth in his semifinal and didn't reached to the final, but helped, as an anchor, the British 4x400 m relay team to win a silver medal, behind the United States.
At the 1934 British Empire Games in London, Rampling won the 440 yd, and helped the English 4x440 yd relay team to capture a gold medal.
At the Berlin Olympics, Rampling was again fourth in the semifinals of 400 m and ran the second leg in the gold medal winning British 4x400 m relay team.
Rampling was a senior British army officer attached to NATO. His daughter Charlotte Rampling is a famous film actress.
