Gonzalo Vargas Abella (born 22 September 1981 in Montevideo) is a Uruguayan football (soccer) striker. Plays for AS Monaco FC in Ligue 1 and Uruguay national football team.
He also played for Defensor Sporting (2002-2004), and Club de Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata (2005-2006).
