The track "No Spill Blood" is based on The Island of Dr. Moreau, by H.G. Wells.
The track "Cry of Vatos" contains a secret message, recorded backwards. During the early 1980's, there was a religious fear of hidden Satanic messages in rock 'n roll music. The backwards recorded message in this track is an intentional parody, with a pro-Christian message.
