Gordon Raymond Banks (born 14 June 1955) is a British Labour Party politician and is the Member of Parliament for Ochil and South Perthshire.

Born in Acomb, Northumberland and was educated at the Lornshill Academy in Alloa, the Glasgow College of Building, and the University of Stirling, he obtained a degree in History and Politics. He was elected at the 2005 general election succeeding Martin O'Neill. He is the director of a building supply company and is married with two children and is a member of the Coeliac Society.
