Gothenburg urban area

The Gothenburg urban area stretches over four municipalities in Västra Götaland County. The population as of 2000 is 495,849. (2006 the population of the four municipalities had grown to 614,704[1].) It is the seat of three municipalities: Göteborg, Partille and Mölndal.
