Greg Pierce (born in Sydney, New South Wales) was an Australian rugby league player for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in the National Rugby League competition and also for Australia in which he played in the 1977 World Cup. His position of choice was at Lock though he could also play in the second row.

In total Pierce made 210 first grade appearances between 1969 and 1985 for the Sharks, which places him fifth on the Sharks all time list for most appearances. Pierce is also one of only two Cronulla based players to ever captain the Australian national side in which he did in 1978 (the other being Steve Rogers).

After Pierce retired from his active playing days he took up coaching at the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks before moving to Lord Howe Island. In recent years he has waged a courageous battle against cancer.
