Gross is a village located in Boyd County, Nebraska. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 5. According to the United States Census Bureau, it is one of only 8 places in the United States with a population of five people. The others are Storrie, California, Bear Head Lake, Minnesota, Baker, Missouri, Odell, New Hampshire, Maza, North Dakota, Somerset, Vermont, and Prudhoe Bay, Alaska.
