Rosehill Guineas

The Rosehill Guineas is a Group 1 thoroughbred horse race for three year olds at set weights held over 2000 metres. It is run at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse in Sydney Australia each year in March. Prize money in 2004 was AUD$500,000.

1910 – 1914 held over 7 furlongs (approx. 1400m)
1915 – 1947 held over 9 furlongs (approx. 1800m)
1948 – 1972 held over 10 furlongs (approx. 2000m)
1973 onwards held over 2000m

1910 – 1979 was a Principal Race
1980 onwards Group 1
