Hang Seng Bank Limited (traditional Chinese: 恒生銀行有限公司) SEHK: 0011 is the second largest bank in Hong Kong. It is a listed company but it is majority owned (62.14% equity interest) by the HSBC Group via The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation. Hang Seng is also one of the constituent shares of the Hang Seng Index. The current vice-chairman and CEO is Raymond Or Ching-fai. Mr. Vincent Cheng has been appointed to be the Chairman (designate) of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation. He took up the post on May 25 2005.
