Heather Matarazzo (born November 10, 1982) is an American actress. Her breakthrough role was as a geeky girl in the film Welcome to the Dollhouse. Her other movies include Sorority Boys, Scream 3, and Saved!. Beside Dollhouse, she's best known for her role as Lilly in The Princess Diaries and The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement.

Matarazzo was born in Long Island, New York to Camille, an Italian American Catholic[1] homemaker, and Ray Matarazzo, a data processing manager. She attended Oyster Bay High School. In August 2004, Matarazzo openly came out as a lesbian. She has been in a relationship since 2003. In April 2005, she was a speaker at the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network conference in Boston.[2]
