Heilbad Heiligenstadt is a Thuringian (Germany) town in the Eichsfeld. It is the capital of the district Eichsfeld. Heiligenstadt is near three-state corners of Thuringia, Hesse and Lower Saxony. As a recognized spa town it offers cures based on brine.
