Helen Miller is the Iowa State Representative from the 49th District. She has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2003. She received her BA from Howard University, her MA from Our Lady of the Lake University, and her JD from Georgetown University.
Miller currently serves on several committees in the Iowa House - the Agriculture committee; the Economic Growth committee; the Environmental Protection committee; and the Veterans Affairs committee. Her political experience includes serving as assistant minority leader in the Iowa House.
Miller was re-elected in 2006 with 7,709 votes, running unopposed. [1]
